JUNIOR AMATEUR MULTI-DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
YOUTH, JUNIOR & PRE-TEEN AMATEUR MULTI-DANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Amateur couples may dance up to the next age division (Youth couples may dance Adult “A”.)
All Junior Single-Dance events will be danced in the same sessions as the adults.
Dress Code: NDCA Pre-Teen costume requirements will be strictly adhered to. Visit www.ndca.org for a complete description.
PT-1: 9 & under
PT-2: 10-11 years
JR-1: 12-13 years
JR-2: 14-15 years
YTH: 16-18 years
Session 3: Rising Star American Rhythm 3-Dance: CC/R/SW
Session 3: Open American Rhythm 4-Dance: CC/R/SW/M
Session 5: Rising Star American Smooth 3-Dance: W/T/F
Session 5: Open American Smooth 4-Dance: W/T/F/VW
Session 7: Rising Star International Latin 3-Dance: CC/R/J
Session 7: Open International Latin 5-Dance: CC/S/R/PD/J
Session 8: Rising Star International Ballroom 3-Dance: W/T/Q
Session 8: Open International Ballroom 5-Dance: W/T/VW/F/Q
Syllabus: Pre-Teen couples may only dance Bronze, Silver and Gold syllabus figures.
Use NDCA approved figures, elements and restrictions. For Closed American Style Bronze and Silver competitions, NDCA approved figures, elements and restrictions must be followed. For Closed Gold, use any of the approved American Style Syllabi of member organizations of the N.D.C.A. (See www.ndca.org Appendix 1 NDCA Approved figures, Elements & Restrictions.)
Junior and Youth couples are not restricted in syllabi when entered in the above events.
